Take a look at the stats from the scrimmage. The numbers can be alittle inflated in a scrimmage, but you have to like Bailey and Ravern's stats. Since he stepped on campus, I thought Ravern could be our top scorer, but with the defections it looks to be coming a year early. The scorer cometh and his name is Ravern Johnson. Is is just me or did the Bost taking 21 shots seem alittle Gordan like for a pass first point guard. Oh well, were going to need some scorers this season, so let it fly Dee!

A few stats jumped out at me. Free throw percentage was very good. 7-10 for Bailey is huge if he can do that in games.
Jarvis had 9 fouls and Bailey had 10.
Bailey shot around 30% from the charity stripe last year, so that's MUCH improved.
Bost excites me more than any other player. He's got a ton of potential.
Does anyone have an update on the injury situation with Beckham and Benock? I was hoping Beckham could push for playing time at the 1 to let Barry play the 2.

Maybe Dee is not going to be a pass first point guard. And that's okay with me as long as he keeps on hitting over 50% from behind the arc. You have to remember also that they played an extra 8 minutes. I don't recall how many actual minutes Dee played. I'm not concerned at all about the number of shots though.
Ravern's numbers were impressive. He could be a star this year.
Huh?
"Ravern Johnson looked very smooth and self-confident offensively and led all scorers with 35 points on 13-22 shooting, 2-7 from beyond the arch."
