Thanks to All

I would like to thank all who have taken the time out of there day to read of a couple of words from the blog. I started the blog not as a tool to garner internet traffic and advertising, but a place for the MSU basketball fans who just couldn't get enough from the regular MSU internet outlets. In the beginning I put forth an effort to post everyday, but soon after I found out that my wife and I were pregnant with our first child, my time and efforts were shifted a bit. I've had several insiders/00 agents along the way, some that even got alittle more involved than they thought they wanted to be. None of this blog would be possible with the insiders, especially 001. 001 has been my insider from the beginning and the info he has provided if what keep the folks coming back for more. I hope all that read the blog got alittle extra out of it. Faith, if i didn't have my faith were would I be. Even though it was just a daily bible verse, I hope you found some inspiration in it. Last but not least, what this season and MSU basketball means the most of all to me is spending time with my dad. I was blessed to have been raised by two Christan parents and a father who I thought of more of a friend. When kids leave the nest and get married and move away alot of sons lose touch with their fathers. My older brothers are moved away or are to busy to get into sports. My dad and I were able to attend 12 games this season together at the Hump. MSU basketball has given me an opportunity to spend time with my father that once it is gone, its gone. So MSU basketball is such much more to me than cheering for the bulldogs and typing away on the blog. I always be able to look back one day after the Lord has called my father home, and feel no regret that I could have spent more time with my dad or got to know him better.
Again, I want to thank all who have graced these pages and all that have contributed to this blog. Always remember to keep you faith, and the Lord will see you through.
Sincerely,
Arliss

My dad loved the dawgs and hoops. We made a trip to New Orleans and the Sugar bowl tourney way back in the Jeff Malone days, we had a blast. Great memories indeed.

Thanks for the blog Arliss. Enjoyed the articles and enjoyed the friendly banter.

By the way, I thought the Dogs played one of their best games of the season. Unfortunately, so did Memphis!

I'll still be checking in from time to time to get the latest insider news on recruiting, Jamont's future, etc.

God bless,

Tom

Scotty and Ravern, a match made in heaven. Another one, two punch ala Gordon and Rhodes.

The thought of having Scotty Hopson on one wing and Ravern Johnson on the other firing in 3 pointers is pretty amazing!

Anonymous said...

Any word on a practice facility?

Anonymous said...

Ravern Johnson and Scotty Hopson are both very talented.

Shouldnt Polke be our new AD, kinda like Bertman did at LSU? Him and Stans are buddies, a practice facility would get priority then.

Ravern Johnson

Ravern Johnson has a big time upside. This kid is for real.

How about Jamont leading the break and Ravern and Scotty filling the lanes. Watching video of Scotty he looks comfortable himself leading the break, I wouldnt have a problem with Jamont filling a lane either. He might just bring as much thunder as Charles. Lets go to the HUUUUUUUUMMMMMPPPP!!!!!!!

Ravern Johnson is very explosive. Has big time talent.

Xavier cant hit an open shot. Oh well Memphis probably wants payback for the Walton game. Dr. Ks revenge!

2 players Miss. St. has signed.....

Dee Bost- good playing time, candidate to start

Romero Osby- good playing time, candidate to start

Both of these kids are very talented.

Romero Osby is listed at 6-8/230 and extremely strong. Inside/Outside capabilities, guard type abilities.

Read that Dee Bost was the best player in the prep championship tourney, which included the MVP of the Mcdonalds game and several other great players. We will be loaded next year.

Come on Scotty you will be playing on a great team at MSU.

Its become a standing joke among recruits to diss MSU.

Is Jesus still at the door Arliss? Halelujah He still is! What a savior, He wont reject us.

Its the ole deer in the headlights look for a Mississippi team again. WHY?

Pearl is a persuasive guy, dont believe the hype Scotty. You may get the exposure but will you get a championship? Pearl has never gone to the elite eight, called Chism an all american, AA bricklayer, dont believe the hype.

They dont have a point guard next year, Prince wont cut it. They beat possibley the Nc team on the road and Pearl decides to change the lineup in the dance and they are demolished, dont believe the Hype.

Hang in there Stans.

Chism kills me, is his headband to small or his head to big? He shots a 10ft left hand jump hook in crunch time like he has done it all his life, a brainwashed Pearl pretender.

That's what my Dad and I talk about 75% of the time.
