MSU 73 ALA 66

We'll still have our say in the west. Great game for Jamont 10 assits, 17 pts, 6 rbs. Charles with 17 pts and 9 rbs. Sweeping bama goes along way toward a west title, not an easy task. Good to have Ben back. Go Dawgs!!!

Dawgs are 4-1 in SEC West.

Odds are Dawgs will win home games against Arky, Auburn and LSU but will lose @Ole Miss.

So that leaves @Auburn as KEY game. A win Sat. would give Dawgs a cussion in case we struggle on the road against SC, Florida and Vandy.

and for tonight.. welcome back Psycho-B!!

Auburn plays 4-guard and will steal hub-caps off your car… while it’s moving! Had 16 steals against UK tonight. Avg. 8.7 steals per game… second in conf to Tenn. Dawg guards must focus and be dliberate.

Auburn is not very deep. Only played 6 players against UK tonight. 2 players for Auburn played entire game.

A win would help Dawgs put a strangle hold on SEC West. If Dawgs win SEC West and have 19+ wins… a NCAA tourn bid is secure.

At the end of the year when the committee is looking at the results will the DAWGS have ONE quality win on their resume? Right now they don't.

The DAWGS have to beat a good team on the road and cannot lose another home game in order to make the NCAAT. A win at Florida or Vanderbilt would do the trick.

I think the losses to Miami and Clemson are going to come back to haunt us if we don't make them up with a quality win.

I somewhat disagree with the poster who is discussing "quality wins".
The Bulldogs are all alone in second place in the SEC, a very major basketball conference that has produced the last two national champions.Being in 2nd place in the SEC is quite demonstrative.

If the Dogs win the West they should be in the NCAA Tournament, as long as they have a winning record in the league.

In additon, Kentucky is starting to look more and more like a "quality win".

This team just needs to "keep on winning" and the NCAA Tournament will take care of itself.
