Walk On John Harris
There was a comment on another post that walk on John Harris had left the team. Jack Harris, contacted me on Saturday and confirmed he has left the team. Jack Harris said "John Harris, a walk on, has decided not to play. He is my son. I noticed your Sept. 12 report had some info on John so I thought you would like to know that he had left the team. He still loves the program and the coaches, but decided that he did not love basketball enough to stay with it." The best of luck to John and we wish him success in whatever John decides to do.

At this point, the Bulldogs - bluntly - did not have a need for anyone else, good or bad, so the most important thing in this case is what was best for John.
He'll be fine.... God is Good.
There's been some mention that Bolen will be offered the chance at a scholarship down the line, perhaps just like Begley. Perhaps "pecking order" was a factor, but we may never know.

That's pretty cool, we can go over there the week of Jan. 26 & Feb. 20 and talk some smack.
I'm not predicting that Bolen will take anyone's playing time but I will say that he will be one of the better walkons we've had.
I hate that John decided not to play. It would have been nice to have a 6'8" practice player.

On another note, Frank Sullivan committed to Auburn. We had been talking to him but I think D Bost got his spot. Good luck to him.
