MSU 58 Arkansas 78

That was ugly! Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. I'm glad that one was over. It makes me sick to talk of it anymore. Lets move on and rebound against the Vols on Saturday. Go Dawgs!!!

Terrible officiating, and careless ball-handling. Very disappointing.

Hate to complain about officiating... but that was some of the worst I can recall!

Nevertheless, you are not going to win on the road with 22 turnovers and a one man show.

If we had 22 TOs against Tennessee.. then the referee's calls wouldn't matter. Tennessee is a very talented team.

In a evenly called game... we could have 30 TOs against Arky and beat them. The talent level is significant. Arky is NOT impressive. My bet is they will lose on Sat. to Florida.

We need to correct our TOs but even with 8 or 10 TOs... we still lose this game because of crooked officials.

Bring on Tennessee and Bama! We need to vent some steam!!

there was one play that i could see us go down hill when we were closing the distance in the beginning of the second half and jamont is flying down the court and bulldozes some arky dude and gets called for a charge while riley draines the 3ball he puts up that doesnt count. TURNOVERS

That bulldozer job was a bad call. Should have been no-call. That's why Gordon was laughing. The guy jumped in front of Gordon as he was passing. He made a great athletic play and Arky was bailed out (again!) by crooked referees. I've been in that same spot. As a player, nothing you can do about it.. but at least you can laugh and let them know you'll be back.. they can't stop you.

Gordon was right.. nobody on Arky can stop him without referees help.

One last thing about turnovers versus crooked referees.

We had 11 turnovers against Ole Miss. 8 to 10 TOs is acceptable range for Dawgs. The difference last night was +12 turnovers. Most in the first half.

The non-calls against Dawgs (approx. 30) combined with the few bad calls (5-7) determined the outcome of this game far more than +12 turnovers. Arky was able to hold, goal-tend, tackle and foul all night with no calls. Dawgs could have had 8 to 10 turnovers and still lost this game. The really bad team (Arky) was allowed to win over the good team (Dawgs) because crooked referees made it happen.

Enforce rules on one team.. don't enforce rules on the other. Rule #1 of crooked referees.

Dawgs lost this game when they walked in the gym.

Arky has already lost game in 16 more days also. The difference is.. the more talented/much better team will win in 16 days.

Last one.. I promise -

Turnovers versus bad referees:
1. How many TOs against Ole Miss? - 11
2. How many TOs are normal/acceptable for Dawgs? - 8-10
3. Difference between (2) and TOs last night? - 12-14
4. How many referee calls NOT made against Arky? - approx 30
5. How many referee bad calls against Dawgs? - 5-7

Key: Dawgs are a much more talented team than Arky.

Does the number of additional TOs (12-14) offset the number of missed/bad calls (35-37) in the game?

Your numbers may vary but this is a good exercise in evaluating a game.
