The Jaguars lose coach John Pelphrey, but gain a name that MSU is familiar with. Coach Ronnie Arrow comes from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The jags return 4 starters from a team that went 20-12, won the Sun Belt regular season title and lost in the first round of the NIT. Guard Demetrick Bennet is on most preseason sunbelt conference team and returns a productive 15.5 ppg. MSU put a beatdown on USA 84-46 and I don't see anything changing anytime soon.

Lord willing, I'll be at this game! I saw them play USA when we had Super Mario, Z-man, Bowers, Harper, and the gang. My son got their autographs on his MSU football jersey after the game! Pretty fun time and a great bunch of guys.

Arrow is a very, very good coach and South Alabama returns quite a bit. This game could be a scare if the Bulldogs aren't paying attention.
