Open Scrimmage @ 4 PM Today!

There should be a good turnout today for the open scrimmage. I hope all who are able can attend. I'll be filing a report after the game, so check back later tonight.

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Went to the scrim with some buddies. I've seen alot of these scrimmages and most years I feel like the team has alot of work to do and are thin at some positions.. I even remember feeling disappointed after the 03 scrim. But this year, we are loaded. No glaring weaknesses, all freshmen were very competitive and look ready to go. Ravern needs to work on his work off the ball including his D, but he has THE prettiest jumper I have ever seen... SO much elevation and arc, it is a beauty. Turner looked great at PG. Benock can shoot, Augustus can do it all it seems. Bailey showed some nice moves and power. CR was CR and JG was JG, not much to explain there. Varnardo was the best bigman on the floor IMO with the way he played on both sides. Either of those scrim teams could compete in the SEC, haha. We're deeper than I can ever remember us being, but young none the less.
