Scotty better than Greg Monroe?

Found this interesting, Greg Monroe has been the top player of the 08 class the last 2 years on just about every one's top player list. Bob Gibbons, one of the top basketball recruiting experts puts together a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd all summer teams from the AAU summer league. Scotty made the 1st squad and Greg Monroe didn't, pretty interesting. Well, most people in the know would agree that Monroe is the best player in the nation, but it is interesting to see Greg being on a second team behind Scotty place there by some well respected or their opinion on basketball recruiting.

Romans 4:13 It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

Good stuff Arliss. I've read a number of camp reports that have critiqued Monroe for looking lazy or indifferent in individual games. I imagine that it's a combination of the reporter's high expectations and the apparent fact that he gets bored when the low post competition is below par.

Scotty is pretty much a lock for some pretty big honors. McD's, Parade, etc.

It seems like Greg may have got caught up in the hype and media just a bit. I think we will have a chance to see him up close at the Hump soon. I think he'll stay close to home and attend LSU. Nice matchup Scotty vs. Greg in the lane look out. I'm sure Jarvis will take him to school by his JR. year.
