MSU commit Scotty Hopson has moved up the USA Today rankings. USA Today has Scotty ranked as the the # 9 player in the country, not too bad. Here is the rest of the list: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/recruiting/basketball/national/2007-08-07-basketball.htm

Osby at 52 but Jamychal Green over in Alabama a 5* in the twenties ?
It's a very good year for basketball talent if Osby's fallen to 52. The only major knock against Romero is that he needs a fire lit underneath him.
I've seen Green play and he's a layup and dunk the junk guy. He's got a good frame to work with and he's very good but he's not nearly as versitile as our guy. ZD
Hopson is a very talented player.
These aren't the USA Today rankings, these are from Rivals.
Hopson could be the highest-ranked player ever to play at MSU.
Yes Kurt, be they are sponsore by USA Today, so you have to think that Scotty has a chance to make their 1st team AA.
i thought Yahoo is Rivals.com's "sponsor"/owner...
either way, its great to see him move into the singe digits nationally.
Dee Bost has dropped significantly though.
Osby isnt in the top 50, and Latavious Williams out of Starkville has also dropped significantly.

Scotty should be best ever at state, exceptional passer in addition to great scorer.
Maybe we finally get our
mcdonalds AA on campus. Stans really deserves it. We are so blessed to have Rick at MSU.
Scotty is a great player, and he will look great in maroon and white, but it's the combination of Scotty,Romero, and Dee that I'm really looking forward to.
"The fastest basffketball team in America" as someone said!
