The first thing that stands out to about this game is that we open and close the season with the bayou bengals. The star of the team this season could be incoming McDonald's AA Anthony Randolf. Randolf is 6'10 and can play inside and out. He is a legitimate one and done. The tiger's strength will be in the back court with Tasmin Mitchell and Garret Temple. The tigers have had the luxury dating back to Stromile Swift of a strong front court, but could struggle this season. Unlike years past if you want to beat the tigers, you better have some 2 &3 guys who can defend, not the 4 & 5 guys. Look for John Brady to play a smaller lineup like MSU has been forced to the last two seasons. They could struggle b/c the biggest reason we were able to get away with in the SEC and alot of teams have not, we had a Diectric Slater. One of the keys to MSU winning a west title was sweepin LSU and the dogs will need to do no less. Enjoy football LSU, b/c you could be in for a bumpy ride this season.
Acts 27:25 So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me.

When I look at LSU I see these familiar names.
Terry Martin 6'6" 205 G - TTech transfer.
Dameon Mason 6'6" 190 G/F - Marq. transfer.
Tasmin Mitchell 6'7" 230 F
Garrett Temple 6'6" 195 G -defensive whiz
Anthony Randolph 6'10" 205- diaper dandy
Bo Spencer - 6'1" 180 - FR - read about this guy during the recruiting process and he sounds like a good player at some point.
Quinton Thornton - 6'8" 230 JUCO
They have a few other toothpick framed centers, but sadly Ben Voogt is no longer in the mix. Must have transfered.
Big questions for me are who plays PG and where is the perimeter shooting. I remember Martin and Mason being average in that regard. Mitchell can gun though, he's high %.
Ben Voogd ( correctly spelled ) is sitting out his transfer year at Oregon this year. The above post was mine, btw. ZD
from what ive read about Randolph, he is pretty much Varnado with a jump shot.
the guy is tall, thin, long armed, and likes to try and swat shots instead of playing 'deny the entry pass and seal off the block' defense.
but the main difference is that he has a pretty nice release on his shot. not just for a big man, but for a perimeter shooter!! some highlights ive seen showcase his outside shot. he looks confident and has a good release.
so i guess imagine Jarvis sans that horrible 25ft arcing release of his.
itll be pretty cool to see if the two of them match up when we play LSU.

LSU will still be tying pieces together this season...
and DAMN Voogd was HORRIBLE. Ugh. He was painful to watch.
I just hope it is televised. I love watching Brady come unglued!
