Did Barry play point again? If he goes back to the 2 we will know Scottys out of the picture.

Scotty was never going to be the point guard here, so how can you justify you statement. The player recruited for PG is Dee Bost.

Scotty is a legit NBA shooting guard.

I was thinking Stans was preparing for Barry at 1 and Scotty 2 backcourt for next year. If Barry goes back to 2 it would mean that Scotty is history. IMO

So did Barry play point yesterday?

Just trying to figure out this Scotty fiasco. Stans seems to regard Barry more than Ben and I know Scotty would start day 1 at shooting guard.

Dont think Dee would start initially at point and have an all frosh backcourt.

Well since I cant get an answer I guess that means Barry didn't play the point. Maybe I'm wrong and Stans just didnt like the way Barry was working out at the 1 through these games.

Scotty please make it all better and come home to Starkvegas. I'm assuming someone told you or your mother that you would never make the NBA if you came here. You will make the NBA no matter where you go.

Yes, Barry is playing the point some, but I still like Ben's play last season. Ben is looking for the open man when he comes down the court. Barry seems to take alittle longer for the play to develop. But don't worry too much, Jamont will dominate the minutes this season. And don't be surprised if Dee comes in and takes the reins next season, he has got some pretty high praise from those in the know.

Thanks Arliss, I like Ben at the point too.

Ben's shot release has improved some much this year, I don't see him back at the point unless really needed this season. Ben is our #1 three point threat. I like his shot and ability to find an open lane to the hoop. And since we are talking about Barry, he is developing a nice mid range game and I look for this too be his strength.

Pardon the strength of this opinion, but in my opinion that first post is one of the "denser' posts I've ever read on here.

Stansbury is coaching for NOW.He is not using his personnel based on what MIGHT happen with out recruits at some future time.

Whatever reason he has for playing players at various postions has everything to do withTHIS YEAR'S TEAM.
