MSU 100 OK 69

MSU play sloppy the first half with Jarvis playing steady and MSU went off the first 10 min. of the second half. We saw a glimpse of the offensive firepower this team is capable of. A tale of two halves. Look ahead to the season opener on Sat. What did you think? More details soon.

Saw where Bennock was perfect from behind the arc! Hansbrough was near perfect.

Vanardo is looking like a monster... 5 blocks and a perfect 8 for 8 from the field!

Jamont put up some pretty decent numbers tonight... 20 points and more assists than turnovers (I'm sure he'll settle down and get back into that some rythymn he had in the last 5 or 6 games last season).

Charles was silent tonight.

Here's my question.

Can we play as a team? If we can play solid team ball, we'll be pretty good. But, as soon as "the stars" begin getting jealous about having to share the spotlight, we're done. Florida's repeat Championship team would be a great model for the Bulldogs to immulate. Anyone on that team could be "the star" of the night. That's the way its got to be with the DAWGS is we are going to be as good as we ought to be.

Can Stans make 'em play as a team? We'll see. I think he can.

M2M live video is blacked out for me. apparently this is a new thing for this season during non-conference games.
oh, and its total crap.

but im watching it now on the replay.
thru the first half, Brian Johnson looks a whole lot better than what people have been saying. he showed some very good athleticism.

and Jarvis was sick. shooting %, blocks, rebounds, everything.
the guy is great.

The rebounding was awful. Hopefully it had to do with a lack of intensity due to the caliber of opponent. Once we get these guys defending for 35 seconds each trip down the court, and rebounding the basketball we are gonna have a great basketball team.

Varnado looks to have NBA talent. Add 20 pounds and you have a super star.
