Excuse the alignment, the blog was not cooperating, season stats in bold, first three of this year in italic and first 3 of last season in normal font. Jarvis minutes have increased to 26.7 this season from 12 last season and it is obvious that he is taking full advantage of it with 11 rebounds a game. Charles's rebounding numbers are the same and his scoring is increasing. Jarvis is leading, but I don't like that Jamont and Barry are outrebounding Charles. He still has room for improvement, but it is early. Barry turnover increase can be attributed to his running the point more than last season. Jamont is being Jamont. His shooting percentage has increased from 42% - 48%, his 3 pt has increased from 35% - 42%. Its alittle early but Jamon't FT% is down from 71% to 67%, we will need him to improve in this area. The season is young, but we will continue to track these numbers and the improvements our team makes. I'm looking forward to see how we play on the road. Go Dawgs!!!

Galatians 2:16 know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.

When both Charles and Jarvis are in the line up, expect that Jarvis is going to out rebound Charles. Charles is going to shoot more often and will not be in a position to pull as many offensive rebounds as Jarvis. Plus, Jarvis is a natural rebounder. It ought not be surprising that Barry and Jamont are out rebounding Charles. They are in a better position than Charles to field long rebounds. Charles and Jarvis will battle inside for Rebounds and Jarvis will win that battle, and that is the way we want it.

I think we'll play well in CA. I think we'll win it all.

A tournament win in Cali would help in forgeting the Clemson loss. By the way did any here that Bama got beat by Belmont? Nice!

Mississippi State....... Improved coverage of perimeter shooters can/will really help the team.

I noticed in a newspaper today ( I forget which one) that Southern California signed some recorded rapper to a basketball scholarship.

As a guy who is not a Tim Floyd fan, I am very happy to hear that.

--yeah, that is Master P's kid Lil Romeo...or just Romeo now...i think.
anyways, the kid is a PG out at Beverly Hills High. he isnt a great prospect by any means, but he has plenty of experience and played with Demar DeRozan in AAU ball over the summer.
